Product Owner will lead our customer promises from the front. S/he will provide Product & technology leadership to our customers business & technology problems and lead the engineering team to define and deliver world-class solution.

Experience required: 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product life cycle of an engagement/idea from strategic planning to tactical execution

  • Develop and manage project plans and groom the requirements for client’s product development and solutions across multiple delivery channels

  • Engage with multiple stakeholder groups to understand the demand and establishing road map and key milestones.

  • Partner extensively with engineering teams and any other internal team involved, to deliver product roadmap and drive feature Implementation.

  • Translate product vision and roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and user acceptance test criteria

  • In-depth knowledge of Data Governance and Management concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)

  • Expectation management of various stakeholders/client groups.

  • Build strong relationships with various internal VRIZE teams, leadership, and business stakeholders

  • Collaborate and share best practices across the team and serve as a role model for leading change, innovation, and transformation

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop operational strategies, define goals with direct responsibility for coordinating the execution of initiatives, processes, and training

  • Partner with our customers (other internal VRIZE teams), to better understand their problems/challenges and work together to deliver required solutions

  • Communicate issues and status reports to leadership and/or stakeholders; works to establish consensus and resolve issues

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and gathering feedback.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

 Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Experience with scrum and other agile development method

  • Experience in retail is a must.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Trello.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making

  • Combination of deep technical knowledge and product focused mindset

  • Ability to direct a team and create an environment which supports generating and sharing creative ideas and solutions

  • Understanding of and desire to strive for technical excellence

  • Understanding of the business and demonstrated commercial acumen using commercial language that presents knowledge activities in the context of business objectives with budgets and ROI as key metrics

  • Ability to assert ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment
